Whether you are sickeningly, sweetly in love, heartrendingly, painfully in love, sadly alone or happily enjoying your singularity, there’s something romantic to do on V-Day! And remember when searching a chatline for local singles there’s plenty of blooms on the bush!
First tip is have a budget and stick to it. If you want to splurge then do it but just make sure you aren’t suffering for it later. Nothing ends a relationship faster than money worries. Don’t bring them upon yourself.
That being said, plan something unique so that the money value of it isn’t immediately apparent. Obviously if you buy a 2 carat diamond, your romantic object of affection is going to know you either robbed a bank, are in serious debt now, or had way more stashed away than your previous dates to the drive-through indicated!
One way to do something beautiful, romantic and unique is to utilize your local community. Find a beautiful spot at a local municipal park or body of water for a romantic, home-made picnic, visit a local privately owned restaurant and not a chain or if you are going bigger budget, have it catered to your special location.
Buying special, meaningful jewelry. Again, there is no need to break the bank. We live in a consumer’s paradise between Craigslist, Kijiji, eBay and flea markets, thrift shops and secondhand stores, yard sales, antique shops and shows, the possibilities are multitudinous! Go alone or go together to find something special and meaningful that will mark this V-day as memorable!
Plant yourself! Nothing adds a solid base to a love relationship like flowers, but why does something have to die? Surround yourselves with living plants and watch romance bloom. Flowering plants, potted flowers, little trees or a rose bush to plant outside together, go green darlings!
If you are in a steady relationship, you will become more solid, if you are a bit rocky, these ideas will certainly still troubled waters, If you are trying to woo the hard-to-get heart-breaker, these things will do the trick and if you are single, then damn baby, pamper yourself!
